At least every couple of weeks, I write new blog posts for the photools.com blog. These articles cover topics related to IMatch and Digital Asset Management (DAM), highlight IMatch features, and offer hands-on tips and tricks.

While these posts are primarily intended for IMatch users, they also serve a purpose for Google's search algorithms. When people visit my website and engage with these blog posts, it signals to Google that the content is valuable. This helps improve IMatch's ranking in search results, which is really important.

I would appreciate your support by regularly visiting our blog page or the photools.com home page. The latest blog entries are displayed at the bottom of the home page and at the top of the blog page.

Help IMatch out, and you'll learn some new things. It's a win-win!

It is a very good starting point for a sumptive or a new user.

Mario, how does a mere visit to your web pages signal "to Google that the content is valuable?" In other words, how does Google know that someone has viewed a page? Does it rely on Google analytics tags?

I don't use Google Analytics or any other trackers on my web sites.
But Google still tracks how many "incoming" links point at my web site and when you use a browser that has or had open a Google-tracked web site (and /or 3rd party cookies) Google learns about which site your browser visits after the current site (e.g. you go to photools.com).

Despite not using AdSense or Google tracking on my sites for privacy reasons, I can still see how often each page was visited, which keywords led to somebody visiting my site etc.

Interesting, Mario. I had somehow missed the Blog. Although I was aware of the knowledge base articles in the learning center.

Is there a way of adding the posted dates for the Blog entries. I always find that information very useful, to judge relevance.

Thx.
