I was seriously considering Photo Supreme, but I needed the server edition, on sale now for $652, if I wanted to ensure that my wife and children had access to our family photo archive.  So I started looking about for a more affordable alternative, which led me here (after discovering iMatch via several DPReview posts).  I'm optimistic that iMatch + IMA will meet my needs, so I'll plunge into a bit of testing next week.  I'm sure I'll have questions along the way, so the existance of this forum is a huge plus.

I am sure that you will not regret the decision.

The best is always to limit the products down to 2 or 3 choices and then work with them for a couple of weeks.

Not all users are alike, and what works great for one user may not worth too well for another.
Workflows, usage habits, previous experience with software, requirements, software environment, budget etc. come into play - and only you can decide in the end what works best for you.

IMatch is a very powerful software, which concentrates on doing DAM right.
The IMatch integrated help system (just press <F1>) is always there to help you. Or just go to https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/

I'm already familiar with the Capture One Pro catalog.  What a disaster!  It rescans all of my folders each time it opens.  So I'm looking for scalable solutions, such as iMatch and photo Supreme.
