Migrating from IMATCH3.6 to the newest version

I now migrated from WIN7 to WIN10 and my actual IMATCH version 3.6 doesn't work any more - message "server is busy".

So I has to migrate to the newest IMATCH version. Is it possible to import the 3.6database directly into the newest version of IMATCH or is there a special way to migrate?

This information on that page is from 2014 (IMatch 5 released) but still valid.

I'm a little bit confused.
Is it necessary first to migrate to Imatch 5 and after this to migrate to 5.5 or can I directly migrate to 5.5?

You can directly migrate.

We just showed you the upgrade page for both products because you are two years late and both pages contain important information you should read.
The database converter in IMatch 5.5 can import your old IMatch 3 database. Follow the instructions given in the database converter help for a smooth migration process.
