Hello
I have a list of file names and I want to copy those files to a new folder called "missing" (so I can grab those files and send them to someone else).  Is there a method to do so using the list, rather than searching the database for each file one-by-one (there are over 5000 files on the list).  The list has the format below, though I can truncate it to just the file names (file names in the database are unique):
I:\EthoVisionExperimentsByStudy\Q44\05_EthoVision_csvTrackFiles\Q445HT5017_01_0_0009_0017330_TrackFile.csv
H:\EthoVisionExperimentsByStudy\Q45\05_EthoVision_csvTrackFiles\Q455HT5017_02_0_0074_0017331_TrackFile.csv
K:\EthoVisionExperimentsByStudy\Q40\05_EthoVision_csvTrackFiles\Q405HT5017_03_0_0044_0017332_TrackFile.csv
etc

Your help would be much appreciated!

Use the File Finder app. It contains an odd collection of special search functions, including a feature that allows to find files by pasting a list of file names.

That worked perfectly!  Thank you, Mario!
BTW, before asking here, I posed my question to Perplexity AI, but did not get the easy solution you gave.  If you curious, here is the page: https://www.perplexity.ai/search/i-have-imatch-6-i-wish-to-sele-CoBvLgHsQc.YS8OXYjATMQ?0=d

AIs may have an answer. Or not. Or maybe they just invent something. It's currently always hit and miss.

They cannot know the answer if they weren't trained on it.
And for a rarely used feature like this, there is not enough text available in the IMatch help or in this community. If I would write a blog post about this, chances are that the next time your AI would know. Or maybe not.
