The Annotation Panel in the Viewer does not always reflect the file that is open in the Viewer.

Select a file and open the Viewer, the Annotation Panel display correctly for that file.

Return to the File Window (without closing the Viewer), select a different file and open it in the Viewer, the file image displays correctly in the Viewer but the Annotation Panel is not updated and has the information from the previous file.

No problem here. Each file displays the correct annotations, which are Person names in my case.

I double-click on a thumbnail to open the Viewer and press Esc to return to the File Window. Is that what you do?

Pressing Esc closes the Viewer - in which case that does work.

I have two monitors - the Viewer on one and the IMatch File Window on the other.  Moving my mouse to select and double-click another file brings it up in the Viewer but the Annotations Panel shows the previous file's information.

As a single monitor user, I guess I should have asked how you return to the File Window without 'closing' the Viewer.

When I use the Panel Mode, I still see no issue. The Annotation Panel is updated along with the image.

If I use the Window Mode, only then I see the issue you described.
