Relationship Manager Expression

Please can anyone help me with defining the correct expression for a buddy file that fits my workflow.

My raw files are either .cr2 or .cr3
i will then process them in darktable.  If I edit a raw file called name.cr2, then Darktable changes are stored in a file called name.cr2.xmp

I need to make the darktable xmp file become a buddy to the master. I am struggling to get the expression syntax to make this work.

I have gone back to this and spent more time understanding the expressions. I am glad to say it now behaves as I wanted and as you expect . Thank you
