Strange unnecessary (for me) boxes?

See attached image. On the right below my keywords area and hierarchy the are some "boxes" (I marked them with red crosses) that are quite unnecessary and take room from the proper keyword boxes.  I have not found a way to get rid of those boxes. Furthermore, I have no idea how they got there;)
Can anyone help?

That's most likely where the Synonyms would appear if you use them... you can turn off these boxes by unchecking that option in the Keyword Panel Setting (Gear Button):

If you don't use synonyms, disabling this will save some screen estate.
Keyword synonyms are very helpful in many common workflows. If you are new to IMatch (assuming from your post count of 17) you may want read the corresponding help topic: Working with Synonyms to see if they would be helpful for your workflow too.

Thank You Mario. I guess gradually I am less and less new:). Yes, I did read the article about Synonyms, I have no need for them in my workflow.
