Show overview over focal lengths in folder or category

One thing I used to use Bridge for quite frequently was to check a specific folder, say from a holiday location, or select a specific zoom lens, and check what focal lengths I used most often at that place or with that lens. Very useful for deciding what lenses to bring next time around!

Is there a simple way to do this with Imatch?

Use a Metadata Value Filter in the Filter Panel.

It shows you all distinct values (e.g., all focal lengths) used in the current scope (which can be a folder, a category, a month or even the entire database) and how many files exist with that value in the scope. You can easily filter for one or more values by just ticking the box in front.

Note: This works for all metadata tags, it is not limited to specific tags.

If you need something like this often, you can create a data-driven category based on focal length.
See the IMatch Standard Categories > Image Files in the Category View. These categories automatically organize your files by Aperture, ISO, Lens, Make and Model and location.
