Importing and Exporting Data

Explains the many import and export features available in IMatch.

• The Batch Processor
  With the Batch Processor you can export your image files into other file formats and add text, borders, annotations, canvases, overlays, and watermarks. You can also control precisely which metadata you include in the output files, depending on the intended use.
  
  
• Printing Contact Sheets, Photo Books and More
  The powerful Design & Print Module in IMatch enables you to create all types of printed content, with flexible layouts and many options.
  
  
• Text Export
  This export module allows you to export file information and metadata from your IMatch database into a wide variety of text and XML formats.
  These formats are ideal for importing data into other applications, Office products, uploading to websites, and more.
  
  
• CSV Import
  CSV (comma-separated values) files can be created in many applications, from Microsoft Excel to database or back office systems. With this import module you can import data from CSV files into metadata and IMatch Attributes.
  
  
• Attribute Importer
  This import module imports arbitrary metadata into IMatch Attributes. It is a very simple yet effective import module. There is no dedicated help for this module since it is self-explanatory.
  
  
• Importing and Exporting Categories
  The ability to export and import categories makes it easy to back up your category schema outside the database, exchange category schemas with other users and to transfer categories between multiple databases.
  
  
• Adobe Lightroom® Importer
  This import module makes it easier for you to import your existing Lightroom Catalog into your IMatch database.

  Note that this importer is no longer actively maintained.
  Users who wanted to migrate back in the day have already migrated.
