Filtering for Files with unassigned faces should not include ignored faces.
There needs to be then an additional filter to show files with ignored faces.

Maybe a fake face called IGNORED?

+1 Even better with all Face States (+rejected).

Mario

Why do you ignore faces instead of just deleting them?
I'm still not sure if ignoring faces is really needed (as a feature). It causes too much work and does not really go any good?

Yes, Mario, that was thinking about it. I thought, rejected faces are good for anything else, that I have not learnt yet, but you know.
So you ignore this part of the request.

Mario

Rejecting faces and ignoring faces are different things.
Reject means that the person assigned by the AI is the wrong person.
Ignoring a face is marking a face annotation as not being subject to automatic person assignments.

If we do not "ignore" faces and just delete the region, then won't the AI just locate and mark the face again if we re-run face recognition over it?  I wonder if we need a method to totally mark an image as Ignore so it won't be part of the image recognition moving forward?

In Picasa (I think) there is the option to mark a wrongly identified face region as "Not a face"

If there are learned Ignore faces, rather than just unidentified, will that help IMatch to learn to ignore these for future scans?  If it could work like that, that would be helpful, since it would reduce the number of Unidentified faces.
