Can't mark labels and tags in web viewer

I just installed the current trial version of IMA. I have access to the DB from my devices but when I try to mark a label or tag or star I get an error. and have to restart the viewer. One pop-up message says the DB is in read only mode.

I am also using the current version of IM and the settings there indicate read only is marked NO.
The settings in IMA indicate that the DB is marked as read only YES.
I couldn't find any reference to this issue in the help.

I have checked Windows 10-pro file permissions for the involved files and they seem to be all shared.
I have IMA running on an older test machine with a clean install of Win-10 Pro, a test DB and the image files are on
another HD on the same computer.

Am I missing something?

In the IMatch WebService Controller Configuration page, make sure to disable the option to open the database in read-only mode.

Please attach the IMWS log file (usually in your Window TEMP folder, see IMatch Anywhere documentation for details).
Is the database maybe older than 30 days? In that case, the trial version will of course open it in read-only mode only. Like all my trial products.

The DB is from a licensed current version of IMatch. I created it within the last month or 2.
Attached is the log file.

You are using a trial version of IMatch Anywhere.

Trial versions open databases older than 30 days in read-only mode only.
You can create a new database in IMatch, add a couple of folders and then use this for testing IMatch Anywhere.

I finally got to creating a new DB, all seems to working as it should. Now on to learn IMA and configure a new workflow for my wife and I to use for our images.

I recommend showing your wife (and yourself) some of the free video tutorials in the IMatch Anywhere Learning Center
