FLV & Thumbnails

Since I'm in a Windows 10 environment, the OS doesn't automatically generate thumbnails for the FLV video file type.  I tried with some success, to deal with this issue by following a before-recommended-in-this-community workaround, whereby a screen capture from an FLV file is generated and is related to that original FLV file, as an "As Visual" version, which hence, allows for the screen capture to become the thumbnail for that FLV file.
The above procedure works like a charm, except for one problem:  The file dimensions are stuck on 2,000x2,000.  How can I fix this problem, rendering the true dimensions like 320x240, 480x360, 1920x1080, etc., as what are displayed for the thumbnails?

If you use IMatch 2017, it should support FLV files.

I'm running the latest version of IMatch 2017 (2017.7.6), and it's not displaying the thumbnail preview for Flash Video (.flv files), which up until now, I deemed normal because no such previews are generated for those thumbnails in File Explorer either.  So, what can I do to get the display of an image, instead of an icon for FLV thumbnails?  I've already performed a Ctrl-Shift-F5 to do a "Force Updated", which didn't do the trick.

If you did a forced rescan and it did not create a preview, the FLV is not supported. Sorry. Adobe's Flash Video was always special and a real pest, if you ask me.
