Where did the Import Metadata into Attributes module go? It doesn't seem to be in the Import & Export panel anymore.

Please check (IM2017) the Import & Export Panel, Option Import CSV files (yellowish button).

I did not attempt to rewrite all old BASIC import modules for the initial release of IMatch 2017. For very specialized import modules like "Import Metadata into Attributes" I decided to skip it and see how many users complain or want the feature back. So far you are the first user that is missing this. Add a feature request for it and if there is demand, I will consider writing an app which does this. Frankly, I don't see much use for this for the general user base.

Importing CSV files into metadata or Attributes is often used to import data from Excel or other databases. But copying metadata into Attributes is not often needed. Basically it creates redundant data.

Well, I will then be the second one to miss this option.  I use the Image Batch Processor to create renamed versions for specific purposes and then refilled the attributes from the metadata as needed. That is not possible any more.

It looks to me that I will have to do this by first creating copies that are versions or buddy files of the originals, then rename them, at least that seems to be a solution.

And by the way, the 2017 version is absolutely super, this is the first thing I come across that I didn't like.

If you "export" your batch processed files into a folder managed by IMatch, you can use versioning to automatically copy attributes.

Yes, and this is indeed far better workflow than the one I was used to.
