.Mov thumbnail not showing and Layout editor not displaying correct Metadata Tag

I have several .MOV files that do not show a thumbnail in neither IMATCH nor Windows 7 (Windows Explorer).  I am unable to attach this file because it is not an allowable format to upload so I will send it to you via email (P1301207.mov).   It opens fine and plays under Quicktime.  The Metadata looks good in IMATCH.  I have read several posts on thumbnails but didn't see anything exactly like this.  Any idea why I don't see a thumbnail with this .Mov but I do on others?  This .Mov was taken with an older Olympus DSLR.

Thanks!

MOV is a proprietary format. IMatch does not contain support for it. If Windows cannot produce a thumbnail for your MOV files, IMatch can also not show a thumbnail. If there is a MOV codec installed, it may not support the MOV variant used for that file. IMatch does not directly interface with Apple QuickTime.

I checked your thumbnail. When IMatch tries to produce a thumbnail from it, Windows returns an error (Windows does not natively support MOV files due to license issues with Apple). So IMatch only shows the standard icon. This is the expected behavior.

The Metadata in the file is extracted correctly and displayed in the Metadata Panel.

Mario:

O.K.  Thanks for looking at this.  I'll try and convert these files to a different format.  Thanks again!
