Thumbnails not updating after metadata changes – Cache or File Issue?

I am having an annoying issue where some thumbnails in IMatch do not update after I modify the metadata. Even after saving the changes and refreshing (F5), the thumbnails remain unchanged, while the metadata reflects correctly in the File Window details panel. Is this a known bug or is it caused by my caching settings?

What do you mean with "thumbnails do not update"?
Changing metadata does not affect thumbnails (which are stored in the database, so the cache is irrelevant).
Why would you expect thumbnails to change (and how) after adding metadata? Which metadata do you change?

Can you answer Mario's questions about what metadata do you change?  Why do you expect the thumbnail to be updated?

Yup. More info needed.

Thumbnails are generated when IMatch indexes an image. They are only updated when you change the image in another application and IMatch re-imports the image.

What do you expect to change.
Which metadata do you change (orientation, if so, which metadata tag do you change and where?)
An attached screen shot (<Windows key> + <Print key>) is often helpful.
