Hi
I like to use the Events tab to assign my images to specific events. This works very well. But now I'm facing a problem that I can't solve and need your help:

Displaying events by date works. But this time I have two different events on the same date. This is because my children were also out and about with their cameras and I was somewhere else with my camera.

The pictures are in different directories, but as I said, they have the same date. So I can't create an event from that alone. So I came up with the idea of working with regular expressions so that I either include the directories I want or exclude the other directories from the event. Here I fail.... (probably because I can't find the regular expressions correctly?)

The directories Camera1/2025/April_Event1
and Camera1/2025/April_Event2 I would like to include

I would like to exclude the directory tree Camera 2/2ß025/Event2/....

Is that possible?

Would it not be easier to assign the pictures to different categories in this case and use category-based events, at least for this special case?

You can create events for specific folders.
You can create events for a selection of files.

I think doing it that way for this particular case is the best way.

Thanks a lot, I din't know that this is possible. I used to go on the "+" Button on events and have created events only from dates.  :D

See Creating Events for details about the multiple ways to create events.
