Previews of Sub-Folders not working right

I just noticed that I now have previews of sub-folders when I open a main folder, I like it and see that it can be disabled by clicking "disable" at the bottom of the screen under the subfolder previews.

HOWEVER, I have no idea why these previews started appearing.  I assume it has something to do with the hierarchical display mode selections... but i can't seem to figure that out.

ALSO, the previews I am getting are for the same sub-folders regardless of which main folder I select!!  That shouldn't happen. ???

You probably missed the release note?

See Album View for details about this new feature, how to use it, how to disable it when you don't want it etc.

OK Thanks for the quick reply.

In the categories tab the Album view seems to work as designed.

However, in the files tab the Same album thumbnails appear even when a different folder is selected!
It seems to be stuck on those thumbnails and their links.

Also, if I click 'disable' the previews disappear... but if I then select another folder the same linked thumbnails reappear regardless of which main folder I select.

I'm not sure I understand. A few screen shots may help.

The Album View shows for empty folders which have non-empty folders.
It displays a tile for each sub-folder, using the folder thumbnail you have configured. If you have not configured a folder thumbnail, it uses the highest rated file of the sub-folder. Or category.

I don't know why the Album View would show wrong thumbnails.
Does this effect go away when you set a folder thumbnail for each sub-folder? You can do this via the properties of the folder or in the File Window using <Ctrl>+<T>, <T>.

How can I reproduce this?

Yes it was showing the wrong thumbnails. :-\

I solved this by disabling "use album view" under preferences/file window/window/.  Restarted IMatch. re-enabled "use album view"  .... Problem solved.  ?   So far OK. :)

What do you mean exactly by "wrong thumbnails"?
Thumbnails from a totally different folder? Thumbnails from the wrong sub-folder?

I have never experienced this and no other user ever reported this, I think?
I need some screen shots. I want to know how your folder structure looks and where the wrong thumbnails are coming from.

If I can reproduce this here, I can fix this.
