Thanks. Good pointers!

Like most in IT, I keep a close eye on developments.

I occasionally use ChatGPT and it definitely has its uses - if you understand that it basically just arranges the words in its answers in the most appropriate statistical way. Still, it's kinda strange how often it get is right. So much in nature is just math and statistics... ;D

Midnight Journey, Stable Diffusion, Dall-E will bring some pain into the world of graphic artists.
Like the switch to 3D rendering brought pain into the world of car and product photography 20 years ago.

Much of today's pop music is already written, auto-tuned and produced using software and AI. And sounds like it.
And this trend will continue.
Rick Beato recently did a good video on that topic:  The AI Effect: A New Era in Music and Its Unintended Consequences
Thankfully, there are tens of thousands of skilled and creative 'real' musicians on YouTube and elsewhere.

Recent enhancements from Microsoft may free developers like me from writing the same boilerplate code over and over.
And if there will be an AI some which writes and validates tests for me one day - bring it on!
An AI writing something like Photoshop, Affinity Designer, Lightroom, DxO, C1, Ableton or IMatch - not in the near future, I believe.

I've introduced the IMatch AI for face recognition in 2020 and I continue to look into ways to integrate AI into IMatch to allow users to organize their files better, quicker and with less effort. And to do 'more' with their data, since DAM is only the base for creative usage of images and other digital assets.

More important is that many people blindly believe what it outputs, not realizing how often it is completely wrong ...
