I've looked on the community and been trying various filters in IMatch without success for last 20 minutes!

I would like to find all my files without a keyword. What is the filter to do this.

Thanks,
Aubrey.

Simple.
Go to the Category View. Open IMatch Workflow Categories. Click on "No Keywords". This shows all files without keywords.
There are also categories which show you files without title, description, missing GPS data, ...

If your database is old and you have never bothered to import the Workflow Categories, you can do so now with the category import.
The category set is in the file "C:\ProgramData\photools.com\IMatch6\Presets\workflow-en.imcsx"

To do it the hard way with the Filter Panel: This works the same as with all other "Find files without value in this tag".
Read this as a refresher: Value Filter There is a yellow box in that section which explains how to find files without value in a specific tag (like keywords).

Thanks Mario,
I'm glad I asked, that was simple. Now I've found 4000+ NEF files with no keywords so I'll have a busy evening. I think some have the old category style so many will be simply "convert category to keyword".

I was trying to do it the hard way with the filter panel!

It's not that hard, actually.

Value Filter on "hierarchial keywords".
Enable "files with value."
Enable "invert".

This shows all files without keywords in whatever your scope is.

Your question produces a new entry in the IMatch 2020 "Did You Know?" app.

Unfortunately the General Discussion is becoming difficult to search there are now so many entries. Hence the title of my query to try to get it to stand out.

This "Did you Know?" app sounds promising.

I hope so. It's an advanced version of the "Tip of the Day" dialog older IMatch versions had.
The idea is to give the user quick tips about IMatch features. Like "How to find files without keywords" or "Context Menus" (many new users don't know about context menus anymore...

"No Keywords" isn't working. It says that there are 29k images in that category, but doesn't display any images.

Mario

What is "No Keywords"?
Do you mean the IMatch Workflow category?
I've just checked and it works.
