Imatch says "Updating"

When I try to select several files, Imatch will not stop updating. I tried to select 200 files, but still too many. Checked the Info & Activity panel but there is no entries in queue. But it says that there is 72 127 files in perm cache and 0 files in temp cache.

I have also tried to close panels to see if this work.

Do you have suggestions to what I can do or check?

Not really sure what you are experiencing.
Where does it say "updating"?
200 files is not much, the Metadata Panel and Keyword Panel have a threshold of 500 files, I believe (then they show a warning).

Maybe just close and restart IMatch?
Database diagnosis is clean without warnings or errors?

The "updating" text comes in the metadata panel and keywords panel. I have set the file window to never pause. I haven`t seen any errors when running the database diagnosis lately.

First I tried to select 5-6000 photos in the filewindow. The updating text came and nothing happened. Yesterday when I tried, the same text came for 200 photos too. Perhaps I have to dig into my settings and see what is working in the background. Maybe something I can turn off to make this work? I thought I should be able to select several thousand photos in the filewindow, but I might be wrong.

This message is displayed when one or more of the selected files are currently in the background processing queue for ingest or write-back.
Do one or more of the  selected files show the little "updating" circle icon?

You can also go to Database menu > Database Tools > Clear file queue to make sure that nothing is stuck in the processing queue (if the Info & Activity panel does not show any activity).

I would also suggest  that you search the IMatch log file for warnings (lines containing W>). See log file for more info.

Thanks for help here. Think the blue circle was the reason - Imatch needed to rescan some of the photos.
