I would like to review the contents of a stored filter and tweak it.
How do I review its contents?

Thanks,
Aubrey.

You mean in the Filter Panel?
You load it, change it, save it again. Under the same or a different name.

Perhaps I did not explain well.

An example:
I have a stored filter named "Pinned". No images show up when I activate the filter.
Now how did I set up this filter?
Did I select red pin? blue pin? green pin?,  maybe I selected all pins?
Is there a way to check how I setup a stored filter ? (aside from the obvious of putting different pins in an image and testing)

I don't think that there is. Therefore:
1. recreate filter (as you recommended)
2. give it a more clear description

When you load the filter (red arrow button) the filter panel shows the settings you have made for this filter. In your case, you can see which pins you had selected.

OK finally figured it out.... it was in the help file, but I missed it. (I'll post here in case another user searches).

"To review or edit an existing filter, you can load it into the Active filter with the Load button (green arrow on funnel) in the toolbar. This command replaces the settings in the Active filter with the settings in the loaded filter. If you make changes you can save them back via the Save button."

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction to understand this.

Aubrey.
