This functionality that I want to import some info from said metadata into my user-defined attributes, is not there today.  So, how can I map data from my metadata into attributes?

Mario

This was for a different IMatch version. In 2013, IMatch 5 did not even exist.

We had a script that could import metadata into attributes in IMatch 5. I decided not to implement this for IMatch 2017 when I ported all scripts from BASIC to JavaScript.

There is just not enough use for something that duplicates metadata into Attributes and my time is limited.

Check the feature request board for a script which does this. If you find none, add one.
If you get a sufficient number of users to +1 your request I may consider looking into it for a later version of IMatch.

You may also ask in the appropriate board if somebody is willing to write an app for you which can duplicate metadata into Attributes.

If you really need to do this, you can

1. Export your Metadata into a text file via the Text Export Module
2. Import this file into your Attributes via the CSV Import Module.

I think that what you mean is in point 1 instead of Attributes is Metadata.
