How to search by date range?

How would I go about making a search for all images in collection that were taken in August of 2015?

The easiest way would be to just switch to the Timeline View and there click on the node for August 2015.

You can also use the Date & Time filter to filter for date ranges.
Open the Filter Panel (View > Panels > Filter Panel) and enable the Date & Time filter if not visible.

These features work with the File Date/Time IMatch determines from various sources, e.g. EXIF timestamps. Lookup 'Date and Time' in the IMatch help index to see how IMatch finds the best date and time value for different file formats.


If you want to filter for another date & time value (e.g. IPTC date and time or GPS date and time) you can use the Metadata Filter, or a data-driven category on the corresponding value.

IMatch gives you a lot of flexibility, like always.
