Hello,
thanks for this very promising feature.

I installed easily, the help was easy to read and covered everything i needed. I downloaded all 3 recommended models (haven't had ollama installed before) and created embeddings for all models and 5000 images. I just realized, my laptop (dedicated) gpu has only 4GB of RAM, whereas the "cpu" has 32GB. Hope this is enough.

I will try to do some testing next week, time is just so short, though.

Could you add some more tags to the dropdown? Or can i use variables for the purpose of testing?
I am using these tags in the metadata panel which i use to describe my pictures.
{File.MD.Composite\MWG-Location\Location\0}
{File.MD.Composite\MWG-City\City\0}

Small finding:
When i switch the model, after i have created all embeddings and try to close the window it asks if i want to save my changes. If i click yes then it asks to recreate the embeddings. I guess that shouldn't be

Mario

Thanks for checking out the new experimental feature.

You can create embeddings from variables if none of the tags does the job. This is only slightly slower.
Expert Experimental Feature: Creating Embeddings Using a Variable

Using location and city for describing images? What is the reason of not using the standard tags description, headline, keywords?

Ignore the glich with the "save changes". This dialog is just a ticky tacky construct that will be gone, whether or not this experimental feature becomes part of IMatch or not.

The embedding models require a lot less memory than the models used for AutoTagger. 4GB should be just fine. The small models even run fast on the CPU, when Ollama decides to swap it out.
