Although I still don't get why iMatch can't be ported to Linux, Mario why haven't you created a Mac version. A version where we can move our data to the Mac and then be done with Windows Spyware.

Developing software for the Mac is expensive. And you are kinda constantly under the heel of Apple and their changes to MacOS, regularly breaking backwards compatibility for reasons etc.

Windows has about 70%-75% market share, MacOs has about 2% (https://gs.statcounter.com/os-market-share/desktop/worldwide/).

Since the Windows market is so much bigger, it makes no sense to develop software for niche products like MacOs. Yes, there may be a lot more "creative" people using Macs, but Adobe, Serif and the big DAM vendors have pretty much locked up that potential.

Note: I have a Mac, But I don't use it for work. I also use Linux on my laptop and my servers.

IMatch is a really big application, I once estimated it would take two experienced (costly) Mac developers about a year to port it. Maybe more, you'll never know. Which would be really expensive.

And then I can only hope that enough Mac users buy IMatch so I can break even or even make a profit after a couple of years.

And while I do all that, I still would have to support and enhance the Windows version!

Even on my planet, the day has only 36 hours.
