Sorry another Newbie doing something dumb

I accidantally hit an unpin mark in this view and I can't remeber what it was and I can't work out how to put it back I searched for pin/unpin in the help and forums anything that would allow me to set this (and all in case I do it again) panels back to their default appearances, but if it is there I can't find.

I'm not sure that I understand where you "unpinned" something. What is missing?
Press <S> to open the smart menu in the Viewer, where you can enable / disable Viewer features.

You can also load the Default workspace again to reset all panels to default values.
See The IMatch Workspace for more information.

Once again many thanks

I definitely clicked on one of the small pins in one of the panels and it dissapeared. Because I wasn't intending to I had no idea what had gone.

useful to know that option resets them all I had used the default workspace option, but had changed windows and I wasn't sure that it was globally resetting things so that is useful to know

The Viewer does not use movable/dockable panels, hence they don't have pins.
If you click the pin of a regular panel, it is switched to auto hide and minimizes itself to a tab / header and positions itself on the same side the panel is displayed when visible.

You cannot view this attachment.

Clicking on the tab unfolds the panel, which makes the pin button accessible again.

See Panels in the help for more related information.
