When viewing images within a folder they are grouped by subfolder if I select a folder that contains subfolders.

Is there a way to view them without the grouping?

Example: In one folder with scanned photos from year 2000 I have two subfolders named 'Canon EOS 10' and 'Yashica T5'. When going through the photos and adding metadata it would be nice to have them sorted without the grouping. When the dates have been added I could have used the timeline view, but until then that doesn't work since they are not necessarily scanned at the same time.

If you click the Show Files with Hierarchy icon in the toolbar and select Show all Levels does that do what you want?

...and it sounds like you'll also want to click the Don't group by folder item in that menu.

I did not look yet, but I am sure, the help-file will explain this very good. Like other things. It is one of the best help-files for programs, what I have ever seen.
Best wishes from Switzerland! :-)
