new IMA release issued today

I know how to install today's update to IMatch itself, and have done so.
But as a newish user of IMA, I don't see how I should proceed to install today's new IMA update.
How to do this?

I *think* I figured it out.  I went to photools.com, logged in with my email and license # and then downloaded the latest IMA installer.  After running that, it all seems to work.  Is that correct?

But it would be nice if this sort of update to a new release of IMA could be done within the IMA program itself, similar to how updates work in IMatch itself!

IMA has no integrated updater service, because it usually runs invisible and in the background, on a server somewhere.
You install updates by downloading them from the customer portal and install them when IMA is not needed at the time. Which is exactly what you did.
