For those that use iMatch - If I reorganize my pictures at the source, will the mapping be lost? Part of the reason that I asked is because am pretty sure I have duplicates in different folders.

Sorry, I don't understand what "reorganize my pictures at the source" means?   Do you mean outside of IMatch?

Which mapping may be lost?

I have duplicates in different folders and use IMatch help me find them but this only works if they are all within the IMatch database or as they are being added to the database.

If you mean by "reorganize" moving them from one folder to another: do this within IMatch an nothing will be lost.

If you move or rename files outside of IMatch, e.g. in Windows Explorer, IMatch will not know about this and show the files as off-line. You then need to use the Relocate command (Off-line Folders and Files) to fix this and to tell IMatch where you have moved the files.

It's always better to use IMatch's powerful features File Management in IMatch to move, copy, rename and delete files. IMatch automatically keeps the database in synch with your changes.
