Hi,

I'm not sure if it's a bug and if imatch is responsible for it:
Since a few days I've noticed that the file name is displayed in the metadata panel at "XMP Dublin Core/Title".

Which layout do you use?
What does the Metadata Panel show as the title for the files?
There is no feature in IMatch which could automatically set the XMP title.
Do you run a Metadata Template during ingesting files (Edit > Preferences > Indexing)?

You think of something like "Set object name / Title from file name"? :)
I have no idea why this template is suddenly active. Is there a way to do this other than enabling it in the preferences?
Anyway, thanks for the quick help.

The "Set Object Name / Title from file name" is one of the metadata templates that ship as examples with IMatch.
Photo journalists are usually required to persist the original file name in the title.

The only way to make IMatch run a metadata template when files are ingested is via Edit > Preferences > Indexing.
You have to explicitly select the template from the drop-down list and confirm with OK.
