Event pinning date entry - make easier for year entry

 Tried to enter a date in 1960 into the new event pinning option.

Clicking on the double chevron to switch the year makes the selection display (and thus the chevrons)
jump up or down. This makes the entry, already inconvenient (clicking the chevrons 60 times) impracticably
difficult.

Request: have the date entry display stay steady - or - an easier way to change the year.

This is a 3rd party calendar control I use. I cannot change it. Just drop it and replace it with another calendar control, which maybe has another problem...or spend some weeks develop one of my own.

You pin an event containing files from May 2022 to 1960?
That's is quite a jump.
Set one of the files to 1960. This will shift the event to 1960 to. Then pin it. Maybe change the date of the file back.

Set one of the files to 1960.

This is what I did up to 2023. Pinning now just lets me remove the file afterward.

I guess pining an event to 1960 which only contains files from May 2022 and later is not something many users will ever need.
Might be just the way you use events which has not much to do with how events are designed to be used...
