Pack&Go Protocol "Initializing" forever?

I wanted to see what the tab labeled "Protocol" would show in Pack&Go; not really important, just curiosity on my part.

But when I click it, all I ever see -- no matter how long I wait -- is the single word "Initializing" as in the attached screenshot.

Is that normal?  Or . . .

Unless you run a backup, restore or verify, this is all the protocol will show.
