I have absolutely no use for it and it just takes precious screen space when I'm working on the laptop.

Mario

You can close it with the X button at the top right anytime.

Funny... I actually found this just last week when I added about 5 folders of info... and immediately used it to jump into those new folders that were just added.  Since I don't add folders very often, I never noticed it before....

Yeah, well...
It was mentioned in the release notes, of course. And its also explained in the help.

I recognize that for some it may be useful, for others disruptive. Hence the request to make it optional. As I add folders for every shoot/day, this really annoys me.

I would also like it optional. I do not like it, if I could, I would not enable this feature.

Best wishes from Switzerland! :-)

I have no issues with 'Recently Updated Folders', and I've found it useful, but that's just me. I do notice that it takes into account some notion of history for folder updates. How far back does it look for updates?

Last 10 folders, for the current session.
