Is there a need to install IMatch on a directory with a dot (photools.com)?

Hi Mario,

normally I let the software choose the way how it want to be installed. But IMatch installed themself in a directory with a dot. I have a Razer-Side-Keyboard (normally for gaming, but I used it for Capture One and also want use it with IMatch) and this software can't find and add IMatch-Programme. I guess it is because of the dot in the directory. Is there a need?

If I reinstall IMatch in a new directory (next update), can I choose another directory and all Photools-Systems works like it works before (packing, ...)?

Thank you in advance!

Mario

IMatch always installs in the default photools.com folder. Many of your settings point at that folder and you definitely don't want to fiddle with that.

Is there a possibility to change this "dot" thing in the next Version?

Hi Menace - if the software itself is a problem, I believe the device can be paired with other drivers that may work better... you might do a search to see - I know when I was looking into the Loupedeck for C1, I ran across alternative drivers such as steermouse http://plentycom.jp/en/steermouse/index.html and usboverdrive http://www.usboverdrive.com/USBOverdrive/Information.html - they may help?

I wrote them and I hope they have a solution. Coming von MS Dos I usually avoid "dots" in directories.  ;D
