Google Starts Using Metadata in Image Search Results

thanks for sharing this interesting information!

https://images.google.com/ looks different from the screenshot in the Google blog (in my desktop browser), but has a link "Bildnachweis" below the image.

Sadly they don't use IPTC data for a description, keywords etc.

They are start rolling this out so it might not be available anywhere.
According to their statement, they are using IPTC data (XMP IPTCCore/Ext). Not legacy IPTC data of course.

my images contain both, but Google shows only the creator as far as I see.

no need to do so, just an observation I wanted to share.

I publish the images with a gallery software putting all the metadata in the surrounding HTML, as suggested by Google earlier.
