Possibility to separate "External Applications " from the rest of favorites

I love favorites and I work a lot with them.

Unfortunately I can't open Application-Favorites together with for example keywords which are also stored in favorites. So I have two feature request:

1. Possibility to separate at least Application from the rest of the favorite panel.
2. If it is possible to remove the menu over the Application-favorites, so would it be perfect... (see added image).

Like always for feature request: Just if it is easy and enough time and you are bored a lot.  ;)

I agree with menace in point 2, that it would be nice if the two menu lines could be made "hide-able" to free up some screen estate...

Did you try moving the Favorites to eg. the right-hand side of the screen and make it auto-hide?
I have the Filter, Favorites and Import/Export panels all auto-hide on the right of the screen.
With a second monitor you can move them to that monitor as well.

Ben,
Because I want to call a application very often, the auto hide feature is not perfect.

Even with a nice two monitor setup, screen estate is still very valuable :)

Menace,

it took me a while to understand what you requested in (1) - but now I support this request!
It makes absolute sense to me!
Cheers, Michael

Yeah, my english is terrible. I change the first post a little, maybe it is less difficulty to understand.  :)

I amn pretty sure I have been able to set up multiple tabs within the Favotires panel. So, I have one for application shortcuts, and another for the replacement for category splashers. It's been a while, so I need to get refresh my memory--too much going on in my life lately to do much testing.  :(

Claudermilk,

It's not about setting up new tabs...
It's more like to detach the Application tab from the Favorite in general, so it has its own window.
Cheers, Michael
