If you can get your sequence numbers into an attribute you can sort by it.
(I do this as follows: I manually sort the files, then I run a script which puts sequence
numbers into an attribute. This way my ordering is stored. For use outside of IM I
then run a renamer preset which pre-pends the sequence number to the file name.
This way these files sort as wanted in Windows.)
To convert a category/folder from sort by sequence to custom sort you need
to Reset the custom sort: Right click on a file -> additional functions ->Reset Custom Sort.
Then set your category/folder sort to custom. Your files stay in the order of the sequence numbers
but you can now custom sort them manually.
