Image Batch Processor for all file types?

The IMatch Help says, "The Batch Processor" is there to "Export images to external folders, with original folder structure".  But, what about other file formats, like videos?  Can that also be done with this tool?  Or, is that the job of the Renamer?

The Batch Processor processes and converts images.

The link you provided me explains what I already know - simple copying/moving of files to a set destination.  What I'm interested in, however, is the copying/moving of hundreds of movie files from one storage device to another, keeping the folder names/hierarchies all intact. 

I thought of the Image Batch Processor because it advertises the possibility to "Export images to external folders, with original folder structure", meaning it can copy/move images without actually processing them.  Will it also work for video files?  Or, do I have to use something else for that?

Have you considered using the Renamer in IMatch?
Or just plain Windows roboycopy, which can duplicate folder hierarchies easily.

Moving hundreds of video files between disks is not a typical DAM task. This is more a maintenance/admin task, and tools like robocopy are designed for these purposes.

So, if I use Robocopy, how can I tell it which files I want transferred to the new storage device, with respect to IMatch data driven categories?

See the logging options provided by RoboCopy https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/administration/windows-commands/robocopy for a start. Note that I use RoboCopy only occasional and have no further insight into this tool.

You can enable the Export Original File Unmodified option and give it a try with some test files.
I have never tried this with videos, because this is something very unusual to do. Moving tons of large files round in the file system with folder structures is rather an administrative task, done with tools like RoboCopy or similar.
