Just bought the product and got the license key. But how do I activiate the product? Just can't find it. Obviously I overlooked sthg.

There is no "unlock" in photools.com trial versions. The licensed version is a totally separate product.
The email sent to you by my distributor MyCommerce / Digital River explains where you can download the licensed product.
If this is not the case, please let me know.
To download your product, just log into the customer portal at https://www.photools.com/customer/ using your email address and the license key you have received from MyCommerce.
After the download is complete, double-click the downloaded file in Windows Explorer.
It will automatically replace older versions (or the trial version) with the current licensed version.
In the same way you can download and install future updates.
