Title: Design&Print Tip: Spreading an image over two pages
Post by: ubacher on February 21, 2016, 08:48:50 PM
Note: This is different than the example shown in the Tips&Tricks template provided with Design&Print.
Here I fit the image onto the two pages without cutting it.

To spread a photo over two pages - any size ratio:

(Assumption: No margins used)

Left page:
Create a image container as follows:
Position the container freely
Left: 0
Top:  0
Width: 2X width of page
Height: Height of page

Image fit mode: Fit into container

Right page:
Create a image container as follows:
Position the container freely
Left: - page width (negative!)
Top:  0
Width: 2X width of page
Height: Height of page

Image fit mode: Fit into container

Ubacher,

Thanks for this, very helpful.

BTW: this works for standard templates, but also for dynamics templates.
In the second case, we must simply not enable "consume files" on the image container on the left page.
