Title: Capture One Pro 7 Questions
Post by: Ferdinand on September 10, 2014, 04:15:21 PM
1.  Has anyone discovered a way to stop CoP7 write a "none" label into files that IMatch then intreprets as an unrecognised label?

2.  Has anyone managed to get the skin tone adjustments to work in CoP7?  I've read the help and watched the videos and I still don't get it.

You can add none as a known label under Edit > Preferences > Metadata.
But by XMP standard definition, a file without a label should have no XMP label record, or an empty one. But none may mean something different to COP than no label.
You can fix that by resetting the label via a Metadata Template on import into IMatch perhaps?

It's easy enough to fix in IMatch, and it's only a minor annoyance.  I want to know if it can be prevented.  I don't think CoP7 is overly sophisticated in its XMP compatibility.
