Hi all,
I´m very interested in preserve my NEF files which are populated with metadata writen by Nikon ViewNX and let IMatch5 write XMP sidecar files for the rest of metadata (Categories, Keywords....) for whom ViewNX is not suitable.
When I click in the two options avalaible in Edit - Preferences - Metadata 2 - Metadata Defaults:
- Metadata working group compatibility (Default)
- Never write to listed RAW files
Nothing seems to happen, any setting changes in Metadata 2 and the first option "Metadata working group compatibility (Default)" is always highlighted green. May be the problem that I´ve not yet indexed any NEF file.

Sory for my awkwardness :-[ , it works fine:
- Clicking in the option "Metadata working group compatibility (Default)" set the XMP write mode to "Mode 1: Write to all supported formats" and "XMP exclusion list" is greyed.
- Clicking in the option "Never write to listed RAW files" set the XMP write mode to "Mode 2: Write to all supported formats except excluded" now "XMP exclusion list" is active.
Clear as water.
