Hi everyone, my first post on here since joining the community.
I've been using IMatch3 eval version for a few weeks and have now purchased a licence, downloaded version 3.6.0.118 and installed this on my Win7 32 bit PC.
My question with regards to IMatch 5 is,
Would it be best to install this on my Win8 64 bit PC to get the best performance from the software. I'm not sure if IMatch is 64 bit software or 32 bit software than will run on a 64 bit system.
I tried a search of existing posts but could not find a definitive answer.
My PC = Both Win7 and Win8 installed on their own SSD drives. Data on separate HDD. 8GB Ram.

IMatch is a 32-Bit software and can be run on both 32-Bit and 64-Bit versions of Windows.
On 64-bit editions of Windows applications can "breathe" better and IMatch has it easier to allocate up to 3.5 GB of RAM when you run the Viewer or Slide Show (to preload files in the background for snappy performance).
Thanks Mario
Will give it a try on Win8

For what it's worth - I was unable to run im5 properly on the 32bit XP, 64 bit Win7 works fine. Haven't touched the im3 for ages now.
Support for Windows XP has been dropped a while ago anyway. Windows XP now RIP.
