We now have the ability to switch to another folder/category, and then change the file window layout. When we switch back to the previous folder/category, maybe the file window layout will revert back to the previous one because it was memorized via File Window Toolbar>Layout>Remember Layout.
With this in mind, (https://www.photools.com/community/index.php/topic,13089.0.html)I now want to propose that functionality be added to IMatch, such that there would now be File Window Toolbar>Sort Profile>Remember Sort Profile, ie., switching to another folder/category and employing a thumbnail view, but switching back would reinstate a grid view because it was memorized.
For me it would make more sense to remember both the layout and the sort profile when the option to remember the layout is enabled.
I have implemented this as per my suggestion above.
When you enable the "Remember Layout" for a folder/category, IMatch now also remembers the selected sort profile.
