Title: [BBD] Dashboard does not show files without! thumbnail.
Post by: ubacher on June 13, 2022, 08:42:13 AM
In one db I have does the dashboard not show me files without thumbnail.
I confirmed that I have four text files and I have not excluded them from display.
(I exclude \.(zip|gpx|mp3) only.)

I ran diagnostics - shows no problems. Log file in debug attached.

IMatch includes only files which should have a thumbnail in this list.
ZIP or GPX files will never have a thumbnail, but that is not an error.

It does not show me .txt files! Should it not?
(It shows zero files without thumbnails)

.txt files will never have a thumbnail, so they will not be included in this list.

This list only includes files which should have a thumbnail (images, mostly) but have none.
Which is usually an indication for a problem and something the user might want to look into.

Quote.txt files will never have a thumbnail, so they will not be included in this list.

So the problem is then the reverse: I have another db where txt files are shown under the
Files without thumbnails.

Force-rescan the text files.

In some earlier IMatch versions, before the Dashboard, the no-thumb flag was set to all files without a thumb.
This has later been changed but of course cannot work on files already in databases.

Doing a forced rescan will clear the flag and all is well.
