Title: Read a text file to batch process images in iMatch
Post by: rreyer on May 11, 2021, 11:07:57 AM
Is there a way to read a text file into iMatch to batch process images?

Lets say I have a list with filenames (of existing images), and/or the LifetimeIDs.
Can I READ this list into iMatch, so that iMatch would select these images (or tag them somehow)?

Background:
I would export a image list (and LifetimeID, and any other info) to a text file. That works great in iMatch and is fast  :D
Then I would filter that list with an external script and write a filtered list.
That filtered list is read back into iMatch to pick the images that my script chose.

Is that possible?
Is there a better/faster way?

Thank you :)

I just found the thread with a sloution:
The Bulk Match could help me: https://www.photools.com/community/index.php?topic=11306.0

Or maybe I can edit that script to read a text file and to accept LifetimeIDs.
