Title: Confirming Faces: Batch method needed?
Post by: Jingo on February 28, 2020, 04:19:23 PM
So.. here is a scenario that I didn't test earlier... let's say I have a portrait session.  The images are all very similar - it is the same person taken across 200 images.  When I run the face recognition, IM is finding faces - but there are a mix of correct and incorrect unconfirmed faces assigned.  Since there are incorrect unconfirmed, I cannot use the context menu option to confirm in batch.  Is there a way to just highlight the group of images and force a correction to ALL unconfirmed rather than doing this one by one in the viewer?  In my example, even though I assigned the correct person to about 15 images, the unconfirmed faces already highlighted in the group did NOT update to the new person.

I think this might parallel Thorston's Drag/Drop onto a person idea... if we select a group of images, we could just drop them onto a person to auto-confirm and assign the unconfirmed faces to the correct face...
