I am not clear about user name alias. What is the Windows log-in name? On my main computer I have a computer name, 'Peter-main', and an account name 'Peter'. Which do I use for the alias in application preferences for restoring from pack and go on my mobile laptop?
IMatch stores per-user settings based on your log-in (account/user) name. And machine-specific data based on the computer name.
The account name can be aliased if needed, to make your settings available when you use different user names on different computers.

Thanks Mario. Yes - I read that in the help topic, but using the the example in my OP, is that just 'Peter' , 'Peter-main/Peter'? Is this case sensitive?
"Peter". Case-sensitive.
