Title: Cannot move or remove direction point in map
Post by: baardman on July 29, 2018, 01:06:44 PM
After selecting Add Image Direction a direction point is placed at 0 degrees. When I try to move this direction point, the map moves. I tried all mouse buttons and places around the direction point, but with no success. I'm also not able to remove the direction point, once it has been set. I cannot find how to do that in the help file.

What am I doing wrong?

Move the mouse cursor into the direction point. If you use OpenStreetMap or Bing, you need to point slightly below the target point. A blue dot appears when you are in the proper area. Then drag the point.

I've tried Google Maps and OpenStreetMap. I see the blue dot when I place a target marker when I use OpenStreetMap. There's no blue dot near the direction point. The mouse cursor changes into a pointer though near the direction point, but when pressing the left button it results in moving the map.

I figured out what happened. I didn't notice the button Lock Markers. It was ON. Switching it off did the job. It works fine now.

Ah. This button is there to prevent you from accidentally moving markers  ;)
