You have no idea...All I could currently say is (https://www.photools.com/community/Smileys/photools/sign55.gif)

I'm still working in all areas, doing database stuff, server stuff, SSL stuff, PHP, Python, JSON, CRON ... to make everything work. But I see light at the end of the tunnel now.
A couple of days more work behind the curtain, but then we'll be all new and shiny.

I already left Stratus long time ago (less protection from hacking, shut down my side without further warning). Now, I am at "All-Inkl".

Which is your provider now, Mario?

All-Inkl  ;)

I've been with Strato since 1998 and mostly it worked OK.
But since 1und1 bought them from German Telekom things got worse.
SSL problems. Hotmail and other important providers temporarily not accepting emails from STRATO servers.
And now a total lock-down for all my domains, without any reason or communication (still no reply from their Abuse department after 60 (!) hours)...

I always planned to switch, but feared the work and problems.
Now my hand was forced. And I'm still neck-deep in problems all over.

Glad things are back to normal, or getting there. . . And the photools.com/community site seems to load VERY quickly.   :) :) :)

You noticed!  ;D
Yes, the new server seems to have a lot more Oomph!
I'm sure once I've got some sleep (and it finally looks like most things are working 'good enough') I will be very happy with the move.

I've just solved the #@!!??##! problem with the downloads in the customer portal (security issue, as so often) and this was my last task for tonight. 14 hours in a row is enough (https://www.photools.com/community/Smileys/photools/ashamed06.gif)

Welcome back!!  If 1und1 is the same as 1and1 - I totally agree... they purchased another web host that I used to use and ever since their service and support went way downhill.  Glad you found someone that you like!

I've had servers running at 1+1 and STRATO, but migrated everything to STRATO a couple of years ago.
I also run systems on Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure (processing- and resource-intensive services, not web sites).

Then 1+1 bought STRATO from German Telekom, creating an even bigger hosting company. And from then on, things really went downhill, big time.
Problems, server downtimes, sluggish response times, email problems...cuts in support personnel.

I have to admit that I just was too lazy and afraid to migrate to another hosting company.
It's a lot of work and many things can go wrong.
My fault, entirely.

But STRATO taking down all my domains without reason was the final drop.
I still don't know what the problem is, after over four days...

I'm now quite happy with ALL-INK.
Great support. Only 2 days to migrate everything. Great speed.
Very fair pricing model.

I don't really care if I pay 10 or 20€ per month for hosting. As long as it works.
And ALL-INKL is faster, better and cheaper than STRATO!
And I have an easy migration path to a more powerful packet and even a dedicated server, if needed.

All-Inkl do really a great job. My site was hacked twice. They send me a later, moved the harmed files to secured folder and give me time, to stop the Spam, which was send automatically from my side because of the attack. I never regrade the move from strato to All-Inkl.  :)

Great Job, Mario.

And really. photools.community seems the fastest from I knoiw, now.  ;D

Releases Notes where, for what?

The official link for release notes for IMatch/IMatch Anywhere is

https://www.photools.com/release-notes/

Does this work for you?

Hi Mario

this is exactly the link I tried. The link works fine.

But when I get to the site, there is only a message that there "No release notes available for this release." This is true for any version (not just the newest).

You "go to the site"? What do you do exactly? Which URL do you use?
I checked the links in the menu and the link above. And the link in the IMatch Help menu.

Hi mario:
Glad everything is working again.
What Mees means is that (the link works fine by the way) when you click the combo to select the product , the answer is always the same.

"Release Notes for IMatch Anywhere (Version 2017.14.2)

No release notes available for this release."

or

"Release Notes for IMatch 2017 (Version 2017.14.2)

No release notes available for this release."

It seems that Microsoft Edge has a problem. As so often  ;)

Although I don't subscribe to Twitter, I saw your comment that Strato had let you down.

I did a search on Strato - it looks like there are a lot of dissatisfied customers... some facing exactly same issue as you, when their site just disappeared. Not good.

Aubrey.
